Maybe it's the nostalgia or maybe is the cool effect this kid was able to make with himself but here is a pretty awesome recreation of some of TV's opening themes.

Music with moving pictures is always universal. The great poppy islandesque music goes great with the amazing job that the artists did with stop motion. check it out, you wont be disappointed.

I don't know of any other band who makes music videos like OK Go. I mean, In some you have synchronized dancing, in others you have people outfitted in full carpet outfits to match the walls and floors, you have highschool bands, and in this one you have an awesome Goldberg Machine. Just check it out :)

STYLOI must say I have always loved the Gorillaz. I mean who doesn't love amazing musicians drawn as a comicly STD filled Rock Stars who travel around the world? I know I do!
STYLO - The Gorillaz First Single from their upcoming Album Plastic Beach - Doesn't Disappoint, It features Bobby Womack & Mos Def who give the track some sick rhymes combined with amazing beats that just makes you want to bob your head and flee from some cops. The video, which came out today, does exactly what you want it to. It's a mix of Live action shots with 3D CGI mixed in, and with a cameo that only the Gorillaz are able to pull off, which makes it one of my favorite Gorillaz video so far.
But check this out - one of the awesome things is: that the track has been out for a while! This way other artists have been able to do remixes for it - one of my favorites (which is also a free download I might add) - makes something so true to the original and yet add more kick ass rhymes that you might like it more than Album version.
Now what about the rest of the Album you ask? Well my internet friends & followers, it's smooth, groovy, and why don't you add another 50's Beat inspired adjetive here, because this album doesn't disappoint! It has something for everyone, from your "Gangsta" inspired kid from the "hood" to your 37 year old suburban house dad who remember's his college years as "the best times of his life." Although the album isn't schedule to be released for a couple of other weeks you can hear it all in its entirety (legally I might add) on the NPR website, so give that a listen.

Blogging. Oh the world of Blogging. What is it just livejournal mixed w/ a bit of sarcasm? I think so. So what does Wally, The Dirty Panda, have to blog about? Well. I just want to make a blog to share pretty cool links, Stories, & random humor that I find around the net or that I experience.
Why "The Dirty Panda?"
Well my friends, I do have something other than this blog. I do a Local Radio Show on WPRK 91.5FM "The best in basement radio" in Winter Park, FL from 1-3pm on Wed. You should check it out sometime it also streams online on WPRKDJ.org but you can check out that info and cool music posts on the Dirty Panda Facebook Page But this is a blog for other things you know, a blog of pretty rad stuff - so I'm gonna stop self-promoting and start posting awesome shit.
The "Awesome Shit"
Well I'm gonna try to post as often as possible so for my first post check this out:
It's a video that pretty much explains well, A Brief History of Pretty Much Everything. >LINK
The video is pretty amazing, it was made a flipbook made entirely out of biro pens. It's something like 2100 pages long, and about 50 jotter books. The guy who made it would say "I worked on and off it for roughly 3 weeks." So Good for you brohan
